good question! the initial draw for paws concept was that for every $20 donation, the scarlysquad would draw a portrait, and in turn give the money to animal rescue.
the way the squad works is that we rotate through our incredible, dedicated (and talented!) list of volunteers. at times, we are flooded with portrait orders, while we also go through slow periods. encourage your friends and neighbors to order portraits!
that’s ok! there is a FREE adobe scanner you can download to your phone, or you can take a FLAT, clear picture of your portrait and submit it.
no. customers only get a digital copy. since many of our artists are kids, there are privacy issues, and it is also logistically difficult for now! this is why a clear picture or scan is so important.
